Oh man! Today was a hella long day! Had work training from 7am and worked until 5pm. 
Then signed up for the 6pm XFit class.

Intense but not as intense as yesterday when my entire body was just sore from my first day back at Crossfit, xD

Did part A with a 45lb bar, was gonna shoot for 55, but it was so heavy and I wasn’t used to it yet and plus the hang cleans burned!!

Got up to 66 burpees, freaking intense!! I think the world record is 160? or something like that…

1/8/2013 : Time to restart

wowza!! I completely failed working out towards the end of 2012, lol…

Last time I worked out was in October, lol… >_< Then I got too lazy, busy, tired, and all of those other excuses.

I got sick New Years weekend and didn’t go the 1st week of January 2013. @w@

But I went today!!! It was so great even if I started back at zero >___<!

I have this habit of not being able to wake up the past couple of weeks, but forced myself out of bed this morning to go to crossfit!!

I’ve been wanting to make homemade granola bars for a long time. It’s nice to know exactly what’s in your food, especially with something that you eat for energy and a healthy snack.

I’ve been intimidated up to this point by the large amount of ingredients people put in them. I just wanted a basic granola bar: simple to make and inexpensive.

If you want to make them… 

What you’ll need:

1 1/2 cups of rolled oats

1 cup chopped almonds (or other nuts)

1 cup dried cranberries (or other dried fruit)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup honey

What you’ll need to do:

Preheat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients. Spread into a well-greased pan. Bake for 10-20 minutes, depending on your crunch preference (the longer it cooks, the crunchier it gets). Let the granola cool before you cut it, or it will fall apart. 

Making tomorrow. I have everything but the almonds, so I’ll stop by the store and pick those up.

Killer! well, 1. I woke up at 6, lol! LATE but I rushed out and made it just in time (2mins late, lol…) on my bike for the 6:30 class 

Did Dips with Greenband, Box Jump with 20”, Rope Climb GTS, and 12lb Kettlebell Swings. The rope climb was hard somehow… but overall workout was killllllerrrr!!! 15:47
